Description
YOGA 1: Breathing,stretching, standing poses and relaxation. Fundamentals of Yoga for a healthy practice. Introduction to the Universal Principles of Alignment.
YOGA 1-2: Sun salutations, intermediate standing poses, simple backbend, twists etc. Introduces strengthening preparations for inversions. It is recommended that you have a healthy shoulder loop alignment. Prerequisite: Yoga 1. Suitable for students who have practiced styles of yoga other than the Anusara method.
Yoga 2 : For intermediate students with some previous Hatha yoga experience. Poses covered include Sun salutations and variations, forward bends, backbends , twists etc. Inversions are introduced emphasizing energy awarness , safe progression and basic alignment principles. Students will be guided in the constuction of a consistant personal practice.This is not an appropriate class for people with injuries or major health concerns.
All Levels : A combination of asanas, breath work, harmony and alignment. The sequencing will allow you to naturally transition through a series of basic poses and variations as you tap into the energy of your body and move and breathe from a place of deeper awarness.You will get the benefits of both active and passive approach to asana.
Inter / Adv : Sun salutations, forward bends, backbends, twists, head stand, full arm balance,shoulder stand, inversions, and variations. It is recommended students complete at least two sessions of level 1-2/ or level 2 and talk to the instructor before registering for class.
